London, 16 May 2024: Ygam has released it’s latest impact report, highlighting significant reach and innovation during the inaugural delivery year of our “Safeguarding Our Digital Generation” strategy.

Through our portfolio of evidence-based programmes, we delivered training to over 5200 people, whose reach is likely to extend to nearly 1 million children over the next year alone. The launch of our new Alumni programme has established a growing community of over 3,000 members who continue to engage, learn, and collaborate to safeguard young people against gaming and gambling harms. Ygam’s team of 47 staff have delivered our services in every region of England Wales and Northern Ireland.

The report provides insight into Ygam’s many achievements during 2023, and highlights our continued impact, articulated through data, case studies and testimonials from a diverse range of delegates and beneficiaries.

Dr Jane Rigbye, Chief Executive Officer of Ygam said: “We are incredibly proud to share this report, as it not only demonstrates our continued impact, but reiterates the importance of the work we do. Since publishing our three-year rolling strategy in January 2023, we have channelled our clear vision to establish the charity as an expert voice and sector leader.

My sincere gratitude goes to our exceptional team, who consistently drive our charity to achieve beyond expectations as experts in this field, and look to the future with the ambition to do more. We could not accomplish what we do without our partners, donors, and delegates. Through collaboration and shared goals, we are building a network of knowledgeable and skilled professionals who, together, are making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.”
