Building Digital Resilience in Gaming & Gambling

Open to anyone that works with young or vulnerable people aged 7-25. Our City and Guilds Assured workshops cover information on gaming and gambling in the UK and provide you with the tools needed to protect children and young people against gaming and gambling related harm.

Our training and materials are designed specifically for practitioners whose role enables them to deliver our information and educational resources directly to young people (aged 7-25) At YGAM we want to support you to have meaningful interactions with children and young people covering the topics of gaming and gambling with the aim to prevent future harms. You will receive a commitment from us to support you in embedding our materials. On completion of our training you will receive access to our Online Resource Platform where you can access over 450 FREE resources. We have resources which are suitable for KS2, 3, 4 and 5 with long term thematic plans, schemes of work and all the resources you require to deliver an engaging session. All our educational resources are mapped to the PSHE Programme of Study. Our youth work specific resources are mapped to the framework of outcomes for young people. You can see the scheduled workshops below but we also offer bespoke workshops for community/youth groups or as part of school INSET days. you can also use this form as an expression of interest.

What People Say

"The course really was fantastic - very informative. I have learnt so much today and I can't wait to take it back to my setting. I love the 'Train the Trainer' ethic, the resources look amazing and I look forward to staying in touch and learning more."
"That was totally brilliant! Design, timing, clear PowerPoint presentation, relating to the group, planning small group discussions and receiving them with wit and wisdom. Particularly liked having us introduce one another rather than “round the room” stuff. The materials are wonderful too!"
