From October to December 2022, we will be working closely with the successful bidder to develop the following outcomes:
Joining the Business Development & Fundraising Team, the successful candidate will develop YGAM’s individual giving portfolio UK, both through regular giving and one-off donations.
This will include managing a busy and varied workload of appeals and engagement communications across a range of traditional and digital channels.
The Fundraising and Development Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of individual giving activity across a range of channels and for recruiting, stewarding, and retaining supporters of YGAM.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic fundraiser to help develop and increase our income streams.
The successful candidate will be a personable, ambitious, and self-motivated individual passionate about developing two-way relationships with our supporters. In addition, you should have a good eye for design and have experience of marketing tactics across traditional and digital channels.
You will have proven experience of meeting and exceeding targets, delivering fundraising products and leading on supporter engagement activities. The role offers huge potential for personal and career development.
This role will suit someone who can inspire and coordinate individuals and teams across the organisation as well as build relationships with external suppliers. You must also have excellent planning and communication skills and the ability to interpret numerical and statistical information to monitor performance.
The successful applicant will join the QA & Compliance Team, supporting the English Gambling Education Hub with GamCare and partners. This role will be responsible for leading the Hub’s online portal. This includes the scoping and oversight of the initial development and implementation, and for ongoing management, including functionality, analytics and currency of content.
The English Gambling Education Hub’s online portal will be a digital resource available to professionals working with young people. It will enable them to access information about gambling harm training and resources, contributing to the programme’s aim of reducing gambling harm in young people.
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this post, we require someone with previous experience of implementing a digital resource centre and who has an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us to achieve our business goals.
The ideal candidate will be methodical and have excellent time management skills as well as the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders. You should be able to manage and deliver our projects’ digital lifecycle within quality, time, and budget requirements.

Who we are looking for
To be successful in this post, we require someone with previous experience of working with (or towards) accreditation of educational programmes. The ideal candidate will be someone who can exhibit and share best practice in the approach to organisations acquiring accreditation, with strong stakeholder management skills.
You will have a good understanding of quality assurance practice. You will have an educational background and be able to review documentation supplied from schools to ascertain if their curriculum encompasses the learning from the Young People’s Gambling Harm Prevention Programme (YPGHPP) training and YGAM resources.
We are seeking YGAM Ambassadors to join our University and Student Engagement Team on a voluntary basis until Dec 2022.
We’d love to hear from students with an interest in Mental Health, psychology, and gaming.
We are seeking an individuals who are outgoing, with a confident personality. You will enjoy engaging with other students and be able to advise us on the experiences of students with regards to gaming and gambling.
