The Young Gamblers Education Trust (known as YGAM) are proudly about to publish their first annual review as a UK-Registered Charity in late August / early September 2016, several months ahead of the filing date deadline with Companies House and the Charity Commission. The publication will show a detailed account of all income, expenditure, outcomes achieved in 2015/16, the steps we have taken to become a registered charity and list the priorities for the charity for 2016/17.

Income for 2015/16 is broadly £120k, although there is another month to go until year end and the charity has a number of potential funding applications which are pending decisions.

The annual review will be published in full on the YGAM website, along with copies of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) that is being held in August 2016. In addition, YGAM will publish their board meeting minutes as from July 2016 on the YGAM website, in order to promote transparency and show the strategic work and oversight of the charity.

Finally, YGAM have published today their accounts balance sheet for the first year of the organisation, as a Limited by Guarantee company before UK-Registered Charitable status was granted by the UK Charity Commission. These accounts cover the period August 2014 – August 2015 and show a modest income of £15,284 and a small deficit of £262.00. The Chief Executive drew an approved annual salary of £7,160 during the year 2014/15.
